Ipswich based business electricity supplier Haven Power has been shortlisted for supplier of the year at the prestigious Energy Awards 2018.

Ipswich-based business electricity supplier Haven Power has been shortlisted for supplier of the year at the Energy Awards 2018.

The ceremony, which will take place on December 5 at The London Hilton, is well respected in the industry and celebrates energy efficiency, partnerships and customer services.

It’s a hat-trick for Haven Power as it hopes to repeat previous successes: awarded Supplier of the Year in 2016, and shortlisted last year.

Haven Power has been recognised for the work it carried out during the ‘Beast from the East’ in the first few days of March 2018. The supplier worked with key customers to reduce consumption - relieving demand on National Grid - and manage the volatility of energy prices, generating additional value.

Paul Sheffield, chief operating officer at Haven Power said: “We’re delighted that the judges of the Energy Awards have once again recognised Haven Power for our commitment to working in partnership with customers. Across the organisation, we work closely with our customers to ensure they get a better use of energy. When we had all the snow earlier in the year, our commercial team were in every day working with our customers to ensure they got the best out of the market, and that Britain had enough power.”

“The commitment of our employees to come in during this time and ensure a top class service to our customers embodies the culture here at Haven Power.”
