ADHESIVES firm Ardex is set to continue a substantial investment programme in its Haverhill headquarters with the installation of a £150,000 warehouse management system.
Over the past 18 months, the firm has invested £800,000 in a large factory extension and the creation of a new distribution centre, and new racking has also been installed at a cost of £300,000. An upgrade of its Tower one, and the planned development of Tower two, is costing a further £1.4million.
“With our company-wide investments during 2007 in the factory, together with new personnel, we aim to ensure our gold standard customer service not only meets, but surpasses the strict measures we set ourselves,” said Ardex operations director Paul Goldspink.
