HOPKINS Homes has appointed Iain Jamie as land director as it prepares for a sustained expansion throughout the East of England, moving further into Essex and Cambridgeshire.
Mr Jamie, who lives in East Anglia, brings a wealth of experience to the role with over 12 years’ experience in the housebuilding industry, including over five years with Bidwells covering East Anglia and over six years experience with Knight Frank as a partner looking after development opportunities throughout the Midlands and Oxfordshire before being asked to set up the Milton Keynes office.
James Hopkins, Executive Chairman, Woodbridge-based Hopkins Homes, said: “I am delighted to welcome Iain as part of the Hopkins Homes team. I am confident that Iain’s extensive experience and knowledge of the local market will prove to be a valuable asset as the company looks to expand and consolidate its position as the region’s premier housebuilder.”
Mr Jamie said: “I am incredibly proud to be playing my part in the growth of such a renowned company as Hopkins Homes. The land buying strategy underpins the company’s plans for expansion and I will be ensuring that land buying evolves in line with these plans to enable Hopkins Homes to maintain its reputation for building exceptional new homes in the very best locations.”
