The firm, which runs the haart, Spicer McColl and Felicity J Lord estate agencies, has appointed Ian Hugglestone to oversee the expansion of the company's call centre.
He brings a wealth of experience from his previous roles overseeing call centre operations for Tesco, Barclays and the RAC.
“I am looking to increase the team from 70 to 100 people and am very keen to get a broad range of people on board. The most important criteria are that they are committed to our clients and give an excellent service,” he said.
“We are seen as the nation's local estate agent which is why we are so pleased to be creating more jobs in Colchester, where the company's head office is based.
“We believe in investing in our staff and developing their full potential and the company offers both flexibility and excellent working conditions.”

The plans for growth come following intense efforts to replace 30 call centre jobs lost at Spicerhaart following Government changes to the legislation on Home Information Packs.
Paul Smith, chief executive of Spicerhaart said: “Following our recent setback over HIPs, we redoubled our efforts to create new jobs and we are delighted to have Ian on board to help us expand our business and re-affirm our commitment to Colchester.”
