NATIONAL brand guru Simon Middleton is due to join a line-up of corporate communications and social media experts at a major conference in Suffolk at the end of this month.

The event, entitled “Managing Your Brand Reputation”, is being organised by public relations agency Genesis PR and will be held in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite at Ipswich Town Football Club on Thursday, June 30.

The agenda will cover techniques for public relations, corporate responsibility and media relations and how to use social media.

Keynote speaker Simon Middleton is a regular commentator on brand issues, with many appearances on national media including the BBC’s Breakfast and Newsnight programmes.

Penny Arbuthnot, director of Genesis PR, which recently rebranded from Project PR, and who will speak about developing effective PR strategies, said: “This is an all-East Anglia line-up of high calibre speakers and a fantastic showcase event for the region. It’s the perfect opportunity to learn about the strategies and practicalities of managing and building reputation.”

The conference, which will run from 9am to 1.30pm, will be chaired by BBC Look East presenter Alex Dunlop. Places cost 75 excluding VAT, with a 10% discount (67.50 ex VAT) for those registering and paying on or before June 10.
