Staff and occupants of the Basepoint Ipswich business centre have celebrated the Baspoint organisation’s 20th anniversary.

The Mayor of Ipswich, Hamil Clarke, unveiled a commemorative plaque at the centre, at a ceremony also attended by licensees based at the centre and other local businesses.

Michelle Wootton, Basepoint Ipswich’s centre manager, said: “We were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Ipswich, councillor Hamil Clarke MBE, to our business centre to help us celebrate the 20th anniversary of Basepoint.

“Basepoint has gone from strength to strength, growing from one centre in 1994 to 30 today and supporting thousands of businesses, so we are pleased to be able to commemorate this. We are thankful to all of the licensees and businesses who attended our celebrations and made it such a momentous occasion.”
