STAFF at home furnishing store Glasswells are working round the clock after a major flood.
Kevin Robertson, sales director at the Ipswich branch said: “It came as a great shock this morning when staff walked into quite a substantial flood which started upstairs in the kitchen area.
“However all hands are on deck to get the store back open by Saturday.”
He added that on the positive side, in the coming days customers will be able to benefit from damaged furniture items at bargain prices.
The store is currently closed but is due to open as normal tomorrow.
