THE Basepoint Ipswich business centre on Ransomes Europark is hosting a free networking event next month, open to its own occupiers and other local firms.
The “Networking Hub” event will feature guest speakers Simon Papworth, inward investment and enterprise officer at Ipswich Borough Council, who will discuss changes in the town the their impact on small and medium sized firms, and Deborah Watson, director of Lexia Media, who will offer PR tips and guidance.
There will also be a question and answer session, alongside opportunities for informal networking.
Michelle Wootton, Basepoint Ipswich centre manager, said: “The Networking Hub will provide a fantastic opportunity for local businesses to come together in an informal way and discuss their business ideas and issues.
“It’s a refreshing new event for the local area and will help companies build up a support system which will encourage business development – all for free.”
The event takes on Thursday, November 3, from noon to 2pm, with lunch included. For details or to reserve a place, call 01473 722700 or email Ipswich@basepoint.co.uk .
