SmartestEnergy is hoping for repeat success after being named among the finalists in the 2013 Energy Awards in the Supplier of the Year category, which it won last year.
The company will discover whether it has won again at a ceremony to be held in London on December 4.
SmartestEnergy, which is based in London and also has an office in Glasgow, has had a presence in Ipswich since 2008, initially within the IP City Centre in Bath Street and now at Grafton House in Russell Road.
Besides its success at last year’s Energy Awards, SmartestEnergy has also been voted top of the Datamonitor survey of Major Energy Users for Customer Service for the past two years.
Neil McEwan, customer service executive, said: “SmartestEnergy is a genuine success story and that excels in an industry that is regularly slated for its poor customer service.”
