Jamie Howe, site manager at Hopkins Homes' development Albany Place in Ipswich, has been named a Quality Award Winner in the coveted NHBC (National House Building Council) Pride in the Job Awards for 2009.

This is an outstanding achievement as only around 400 winners are selected from over 18,000 entrants across the country and sends out a clear message to homebuyers that the homes are built to an exceptional standard.

Jamie Howie will now go forward to the next stage of the competition, the Seal of Excellence Awards.

Jamie said: “The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards are some of the most highly respected accolades in the building industry and I am extremely proud to receive the Quality Award.

“My thanks goes out to the entire team at Albany Place for their hard work.

“We are very proud of the high standard of the new homes we continue to produce and look forward to maintaining these high standards as we continue to work together on this and other sites.”

The NHBC Pride in the Job Awards were established in 1980 to improve quality and raise the standard of service to homebuyers. The rigorous year-long selection procedure continues to highlight the importance of excellent site management and recognises those performing to exceptional standards.
