Former Royal Mail sorting office on Ipswich’s Ransomes Europark is let to Japanese company.

The former Royal Mail sorting office in east Ipswich, has been let to new tenants by Ipswich-based Penn Commercial.

The property Ransomes Europark commercial property is owned by the Eskmuir Group, a London-based property company which own properties on Foxtail Road and Bluestem Road at Ransomes Europark.

The new tenants are a branch of the Japanese agricultural machinery manufacturer Iseki who have taken on a new lease. The tenants took occupation on completion of the refurbishment works.

The property comprises a terraced unit of steel frame construction with part brick, part steel clad elevations under a multi-pitch part steel, part asbestos roof covering.

Robin Cousins of Penn Commercial said: “Ransomes Europark is one of our biggest and most successful business and industrial parks. It features a whole wide range of different businesses, from car dealerships and health club to manufacturing and warehouse/distribution centres. This latest tenant fits in well with the existing occupation of the estate.”

Iseki are manufacturers of compact and garden tractors, and other equipment.
