Rob Hallam, head of democratic engagement at employee-owned retailer John Lewis, will be guest speaker at the next Ipswich Christian Central event, being held later this month.

Rob, who is responsible for advancing effectiveness of democratic interaction between elected representatives and leaders within John Lewis, will deliver a talk entitled “A Different Way of Doing Business”.

His role is to ensure that the various democratic bodies are given focused and dedicated support and that the insight gained from John Lewis employees (partners) is positively channelled up to and including board level leadership, so truly influencing the business.

The Ipswich Christian Central event, which follows on from a series of succesful business seminars last year, takes place on Thursday, March 23, from 12.30pm to 1.45pm at the St Nicholas Centre in Cutler Street, Ipswich, IP1 1UQ and is being sponsored by Kingsfleet Wealth, Suffolk Life Group plc and Christchurch Solicitors LLP.

A free buffet lunch will precede the talk and there will time afterwards for questions and discussion. Places are free of charge. To book or for further information contact David Pawson by email to events@cofesuffolk.org.
