The July Racecourse in Newmarket is set to play host to a fundraising Gala Race Day for the Animal Health Trust (AHT) on Saturday, June 10, as the charity celebrates its 75th anniversary.

The AHT, an animal charity based in Kentford, near Newmarket, has been involved in work on diseases including cancer, epilepsy, Strangles and equine flu affecting horses, dog and cats.

Mark Vaudin, chief Executive of the AHT, said: “I hope people will support us by giving generously. Alongside our work benefitting dogs and cats, we are committed to supporting the racing industry through working to combat equine diseases.”

Gala day chair Noel Byrne said he was “thrilled” at how well supported the gala day was.
