CHESTERFORD Research Park near Saffron Walden has appointed Karl Smith and Michael Turner to its management team.
Mr Turner has been appointed building services manager with particular responsibility for providing on-site technical support.
He has a mechanical background and a broad range of experience gained over 22 years in the industry, working in R& D, hotels, telecommunications and health sectors.
Mr Smith has been made security and park services manager. He served in the Royal Artillery for nine years where he worked in the Close Protection Unit as a personal bodyguard for the regimental sergeant major. He also held a management post in the detention services sector before his latest move into corporate security.
