Steel stockholder AJN Steelstock, based at Kentford, near Newmarket, has completed a company-wide rebrand aimed at helping it to build on a record period of growth.

In the year to April, the company’s turnover increased by 21.5% on the previous 12 months to £44million, representing the sale of 63,000 tonnes of steel, and the trend has continued since, reaching a new record high for a single month of £5m in July.

As a result, its 11-acre site in Suffolk is nearing capacity and the company is now in advanced negotiations for an additional site in the south of England.

AJN Steelstock’s finance director, Courtney Bell, said: “The company is entering its most exciting period since it was founded over 60 years ago. The demand for our steel has never been higher.

“Our new livery, logo and website reflect that success and, in addition, we are close to clinching the purchase of a new site that is considerably larger than our existing one. This means we can continue to grow at an even faster rate.”

AJN Steelstock primarily serves customers in the construction, agricultural, architectural, food processing and automotive sectors, throughout East Anglia, the Home Counties, the East Midlands and London.

In addition to a comprehensive range of steel products, usually totalling more than 15,000 tonnes at any one time, AJN also provides in-house sawing, shot-blast and painting facilities, and a state of the art CNC drilling line.
