FORMER waitress Lorna Evans has been served up a new role as commercial and systems manager at Tutti Grille, an Italian restaurant based at Freeport Braintree.
FORMER waitress Lorna Evans has been served up a new role as commercial and systems manager at Tutti Grille, an Italian restaurant based at Freeport Braintree.
Ms Evans, who started with the company three years ago, worked her way up from waitress to assistant manager and then general manager.
She will be overseeing training duties for senior personnel, as well as monitoring financial operational, health, safety and hygiene matters and customer service.
“I'm looking forward to the challenges this new post will give me,” she said.
“I know the business inside out and want to be a part of its future success. It's an exciting time for the company and I look forward to helping the business grow.”
The newly-created role of commercial and systems manager will allow the growing chain of restaurants to take a more strategic approach to their business.
