Innovative new business will get the change to present their ideas to business angel investors and funders at a New Anglia Capital Investment Day being held at the OrbisEnergy complete in Lowestoft on Tuesday, July 2.

New Anglia Capital was launched earlier this month to bringing together investors with Suffolk and Norfolk businesses seeking funding, enabling entrepreneurs to gain access to sources of valuable early stage funding to take their ideas forward and create jobs and wealth in the future.

New Anglia Capital is an independent company that is working in co-operation with New Anglia LEP. Its aim is to bring together, in a straightforward and transparent manner, all the various sources of finance that will enable growth businesses to generate the early stage funding that is increasingly difficult to source through more conventional streams.

Harry Berry, chairman of New Anglia Capital, said: “East Anglia’s small and start-up businesses, which will create the wealth and the jobs we so desperately need, cannot get the finance they require to grow. Conventional sources of funding for good ideas are increasingly scarce in the current tough economic climate. This is where New Anglia Capital steps in.
