Seed and agrochemical firm Syngenta will be visiting Bury St Edmunds on Tuesday, February 21, where it will be holding one of a series of national workshops on maize agronomy.
It will be providing a topical update of issues for all involved with growing maize – for both livestock feed and anaerobic digestion (AD) plants.
The event, at CLAAS UK from 9.45am to 1pm, includes detailed briefings from the Maize Growers Association and independent agronomists, as well as Syngenta field technical managers. Speakers include Jon Myhill of Future Biogas, who will be discussing getting the most of your crop for AD production, and John Morgan of the Maize Growers Association who will look at maize establishment.
