Based in Oman, The Malkai is an exclusive golf and country club which will rank among the best and most exclusive destinations in the world

It is the latest project for Martlesham Heath-based 2Cs, which boasts a client list that includes Sir Norman Foster's Serrenia development, Renewables East and Universal Music.

2Cs created the design concept “the ultimate in bespoke luxury” for The Malkai. This concept was then brought to life in the form of a launch book that will be given to key opinion formers and influencers and be used for the launch film, multimedia sales tool, sales brochure, website, Computer Generated Images (CGIs) of the new development, corporate stationery, and advertising creatives.

Following a competitive pitch, 2Cs was commissioned to undertake the marketing for The Malkai by international property agent Cluttons. The brief was to create something that would tempt the person that has everything. In response 2Cs designed an 80-page hand-finished, leather-bound coffee table book, presented in a leather and satin case, designed to seduce potential investors with a taste of the lifestyle they can expect at The Malkai.

In addition 2Cs has created a film that builds on the theme of the launch book, showing prospective buyers a sample of The Malkai's luxury and the beauty of Oman. An website has also been developed to take in to account the region's varying bandwidth, while a multimedia sales tool has been designed for the Cluttons team, incorporating a web-based update system.

The Malkai is an exclusive development located in Barka, Oman, scheduled to be completed by end-2010. It is being developed by Al Maeen Real Estate Services with an investment of around US$250 million and managed by GHM Hotels, which offer some of the best luxury resort, hotel, spa and villa experiences in the world.

The development aims to attract investors from around the globe with a focus on markets in the Middle East and Northern Europe.

It will comprise of 101 four-bedroom villas and 92 two-bedroom suites, as well as a boutique hotel offering 41 luxury suites. At the heart of the development is a nine hole golf course, the first ever in Oman designed by renowned golf course architects Gary Player Design.

Alex Upson, partner, international sales, at Cluttons, said: “2Cs have surpassed themselves in creating a design that really encapsulates the exclusivity and bespoke luxury of The Malkai. They were tasked with creating every element for the launch in just eight weeks and have really impressed us with their creative flair and understanding of the ultra-prime residential market.”
