Galloway Travel Group, based at Mendlesham, near Stowmarket, has purchased four new coaches to operate a National Express airport service 10 times a day.

The purchase of the new vehicles, which will operate under the National Express identity between Ipswich and Heathrow and Stansted airports, has been supported by funding from Clydesdale Bank.

David Cattermole, director at Galloway European Coachlines, said: “We were thoroughly impressed with how Clydesdale Bank took the time to understand our business and the specific project.

“The whole process was absolutely seamless and we are delighted to be able to run this service and hope people make use of it to ensure its future success.”

Neill Keveren, Business Banking Partner at Clydesdale Bank’s East Anglia Team, said: “Galloway is one of the biggest coach operators in the region and we look forward to helping them continue to grow in the future.”
