UNIVERSITY Campus Suffolk (UCS) has welcomed academic researcher and lawyer Dr Mirjam Southwell to its innovative research and evaluation centre, CREATE.
UNIVERSITY Campus Suffolk (UCS) has welcomed academic researcher and lawyer Dr Mirjam Southwell to its innovative research and evaluation centre, CREATE.
CREATE, which is based on the main campus in Ipswich, employs a multi-disciplinary team of research staff, and draws on subject specialists from across the academic departments of UCS.
It works with a wide variety of public, private and third sector partners and focuses on connections between education, technology and economic development.
UCS's director of enterprise and executive dean Dr Peter Funnell said: “I am delighted to welcome Mirjam Southwell to the CREATE Research Centre. Mirjam is an outstanding academic researcher and lawyer and will bring a wealth of experience to the innovative work of the centre.”
Dr Southwell said she was “delighted to be joining CREATE at a key stage of its development.
