HARWICH and North Essex MP Bernard Jenkin has visited millers and food ingredient production company Edme to find out more about the Mistley-based firm.
He was given a tour of the facilities and got the chance to discuss the challenges currently facing companies in the region.
Mr Jenkin said: “We think of the food industry as being dominated by huge companies, but Edme is a little jewel of a business and part of the economic lifeblood of Mistley and the surrounding area.”
