Events management and business engagement specialist, Kim Brown has joined the team at the Eastern Enterprise Hub as Business Enterprise Manager.

In her new appointment, Kim will be responsible for the development of the Enterprise Academy programme, in partnership with Suffolk One and for the EE Hub’s unique student to business network The 5th Floor Business Club.

Kim has spent the last six years running her own event management business in Suffolk, organising large-scale corporate events. Prior to that, she held senior positions with Lloyds and BT at Adastral Park.

Well known on the Suffolk business scene, Kim has served as a Committee Member, Deputy Chairperson, and is currently Chairperson for the Ipswich & Suffolk Small Business Association.

Nikki Barker has been promoted to Client Services Director at Spring, Suffolk’s fast-growing creative communications agency.

Since her appointment as Account Director in March Nikki has worked closely with clients including Active Web Solutions, The Eastern Enterprise Hub and Sirius Products.

In her role as client services director Nikki will sit on the executive management board as well as taking on responsibility for setting up client accounts and mentoring the agency’s account handling team.

Nikki’s experience and work ethic has impressed her colleagues at Spring. In particular it is her background in marketing new products and introducing them into the market which has widened Spring’s account management skillset.

“I was thrilled to accept the role of Client Services Director at Spring,’ said Nikki, “Spring already has great client-agency relationships, but I’m hoping that I can take these even further in this role.”

Graham Woodhouse has joined the niche firm after 20 years of specialising in property law in Suffolk, most recently at Kester Cunningham John (KCJ).

In his new role he will be smoothing the way for people to buy and sell properties in the region.
