An established firm of consulting engineers based at Brightwell in Suffolk is celebrating a new name and new look to deliver its dedicated focus on the design of development infrastructure.

After working together for over 10 years in some cases, the team is re-launching as Ingent Consulting Engineers offering a range of infrastructure design services – from producing a range of pre-planning assessments for residential and commercial developers through to fully detailed groundworks design packs.

The firm, which employs 14 engineers, uses the latest modeling software to produce creative, practical and cost-effective infrastructure design solutions for developers of all sizes – from those with a single plot through to national housebuilders.

Over the years, the team at Ingent has acquired a comprehensive understanding of all current policies and standards to help achieve planning approvals, together with good working relationships with Local Authorities to secure approvals and adoptions of infrastructure.

Richard Wigzell, director, said: “Clients tell us that one of our key strengths is our commitment to long-term relationships and continuity – many of our projects run for a number of years and have multi-million pound values. Working closely in partnership, we operate as an extension of their internal teams to deliver solutions that meet their objectives.

“With the process of bringing development infrastructure through planning, design and approval to construction ever more complex and lengthy, Ingent has been formed to fully concentrate on this aspect of development. We believe that focussing the company in this way allows us to offer the most efficient way to deliver infrastructure engineering.”
