A SUFFOLK printing firm is celebrating a good result after winning a new contract to print a football magazine for schools, produced by leading UK coaching company Premier Soccer.

Kick It, which is produced quarterly, has a print run of 51,500 and is handed out to schoolchildren who undertake coaching during lunchtimes, after school and during the school holidays.

The contract to print the magazine, which includes soccer news, interviews and features, games, letters from readers and a teachers' page, has been won by Ancient House Printing Group, based on the Hadleigh Road Industrial Estate in Ipswich.

Steve Field, commercial manager at Premier Soccer, said: “Kick It is a very successful publication in terms of promoting the coaching that is on offer to children aged four to 12. This has resulted in us increasing the print run from 20,000 to its current 51,500.

“We chose Ancient House because we needed a printer which could handle quick turnaround, high volume work of a first class quality and are delighted with the results. As a company, we also like working with local businesses with which we can build a long-term relationship.”

Premier Soccer, which was established in 1999, currently provides coaching for 55,000 children each week, through its sessions in schools and holiday clubs.

Ancient House Printing Group employs 128 people and has a prestigious customer portfolio ranging from Government departments to large household names such as Argos and the BBC.
