Suffolk recruitment firm Pure hosted its annual Ipswich charity quiz earlier this month and raised over £2,000 for mental health charity Suffolk Mind.

A total of 32 teams took included groups from Haven Power, MLM and Suffolk Constabulary. The winners were a team from business insurance firm Pound Gates who were presented with champagne.

The event, held at the Novotel Hotel in Ipswich, also included a raffle, with prizes donated by local businesses including The Swan in Southwold, Adnams, Hintlesham Golf Club and Carters Sandwich Shop, to help raise further funds.

Paul Sheldrake, manager at Pure’s Ipswich office, said: “I’d like to thank everyone who attended, donated and contributed to the event. We are delighted to have been able to raise such a fantastic amount.”

Suffolk Mind provides a range of services designed to help improve the mental health and wellbeing of people across the region including housing support, one-to-one interventions and community engagement.
