QDOS acquired in 1.2m deal

THE management team at Suffolk-based QDOS Communications has completed the purchase of the business from former parent company Hilton Head in a deal valued at 1.2million.

Managing director Simon Catterick said the move safeguarded the jobs of the company’s 18 office and field-based employees and opened the way to future growth, both organic and by acquisition.

QDOS, based at The Havens on Ransomes Europark in Ipswich, provides telephone, internet and IT services to a range of businesses across the UK.

Mr Catterick, who was also part of the team which sold QDOS to Hilton Head in February 2007, said services to customers would not be disrupted by the acquisition. Independence would enable the company to invest further in recruitment, training and professional development, he added.
