MARKETING design agency White Space Design teamed up with events organiser Eventuoso and media group Archant Suffolk to host an interactive quiz in aid of the St Elizabeth Hospice in Ipswich.

The event was held at the Willis building in Ipswich and resulted in a “home win”, with the Willis team beating Ryan Insurance in the final play-off.

Neil Prentice, managing director of White Space Design said: “The whole purpose of the evening was to give local businesses the opportunity to network in a relaxed environment, have a lot of fun and to raise money for charity along the way”

Mr Prentice extended thanks to Eventuoso, Archant Suffolk and Willis for helping to make the evening possible, and also Paul Wiggins who acted as compere for the quiz.

All the partners and organisers of the evening gave their services free of charge and a total of 800 was raised, with a further 200 being donated by property developers and contestants Highland.

Thanks to Eventuoso, it was no ordinary quiz night with specialist audiovisual and high tech interactive equipment lifting giving teams instant feedback on how they were doing.

Jane Cryer, partnerships manager at East of England Tourism said: “We entered two teams and all had a really fun evening, despite realising that we obviously don't watch nearly enough television! It was great to see so many local businesses coming together to raise money for such a good cause, in such an enjoyable way.”

Tracy Healey, sales and marketing manager at Ryan Insurance, added: “It was a fantastic evening of fun; we especially enjoyed the lively interactive rounds. The decider was a clash of the insurance brokers with a 'fastest finger on buzzer' round;, sadly Willis pipped us to the post - we will be back after the top spot next year!”
