BURY St Edmunds-based public relations consultants George PR has launched a low-cost flexible service to help local businesses boost their profiles and profits during the economic downturn.
PR Lite will give firms the services of an experienced PR consultant on a 'pay as you go' basis rather than tying them into a contract.
George PR believes the new service will benefit larger companies cutting back on in-house PR support as well as smaller firms.
Company founder Rebecca George said that evidence showed that businesses which increase investment in marketing during recession while competitors are cutting back often improve their market share.
“In times of gloom and doom, customers want to hear about businesses which are still out there innovating and showing leadership in the market place,” she said.
