The regional heat of a national food products competition is set to take place at the Aldeburgh Food and Drink Festival in September

Entries for this year’s delicious. magazine Produce Awards open on March 1, and aim to find Britain’s top producers.

Top chefs, food and drink writers and experts will this year judge nine categories in nine regional heats across the UK.

The Eastern England regional heat will be held at the Fisher & Paykel home appliance kitchen at the food festival, which takes place at Snape Maltings.

Chef, broadcaster adn cookery teacher Valentina Harris will lead the team of expert judges.

“We know Eastern England has a huge number of producers who should be praised and rewarded for the work they do and exposed to a much wider audience.”
