ROBERT Fiske has joined Prism Corporate Broking's new offices at Burwell, near Newmarket, as a director of corporate finance.
He joins the firm, which helps owner managers to buy and sell companies and works with small to medium size businesses, after a decade of experience in consulting for SMEs on a wide range of business growth and development issues.
He gained a masters degree in marketing from Cranfield University and has a particular interest in the ICT sector.
He has been involved in a number of mergers and acquisitions transactions, including the acquisition of a controlling interest in a German manufacturer by a UK company.
“Having Robert on Board will allow us to extend our reach and further develop our specialism in ICT,” said Prism managing director Peter Watson.
“Despite recent confusion over Capital Gains Tax, we still expect to see a healthy market for mergers and acquisitions, especially in sectors where there is significant scope for aggregation.”
