Wollastons Solicitors, which hosts of the annual Race for Business event in Chelmsford, is to offer a reduced entry fee for anyone who wants to participate and who, since last year's race, has become a victim of the credit crunch.

Individuals who are currently unemployed will only be required to pay 5, rather than the standard 15 entry fee, for this year's race which takes place on June 10.

Wollastons said the decision had been made in view of the current economic climate and aimed to encourage and support all those who would like to run but might be unable to do so due to financial constraints.

The runners will, this year, be raising money for Farleigh Hospice. For details, call Louise Tedder on 01245 211339 or email louise.tedder@wollastons.co.uk .
