Suffolk coach operator Galloway has picked up a second accolade for its work with entertainment marketing agency AKA to promote shows in London’s West End.
Galloway, based at Mendlesham, near Stowmarket, received a bronze award at the Coach Marketing Awards for the partnership, which includes a coach carrying a bespoke livery to promote the School of Rock musical.
This follows Galloway’s success at the British Coach Tourism Awards earlier this year, when it won the Coach Tourism Innovation of the Year title.Dan Rogers, general manager (sales) at Galloway, said: “I’m incredibly proud to be part of this award winning team. To be recognised by our industry twice in such a short space of time is a great achievement. It’s encouraging to see our hard work paying dividends and the School of Rock coach continues to delight customers.”The latest award coincides with the launch of Galloway’s autumn to spring holiday programme for 2017-18, including a mix of autumnal and spring breaks and some festive season treats.Marketing manager Catherine Bowyer said: “Our new programme of coach holidays features customer favourites such as Sunday Night at the Waldorf and Dutch Bulbfields in the spring. “However, there are 19 new holidays on offer, such as High Tea at the Royal Albert Hall or a tour of the iconic Broadchurch TV locations so there’s plenty on offer for all budgets and interests.”For details of Galloway’s full range of holidays and day excursions by coach, visit www.travel-galloway.com or call in at one of its Galloway Travel Centre branches, in Ipswich, Stowmarket, Colchester or Norwich.
