An Essex-based milkshakes maker says it’s on track for another impressive year of growth as the company marks its 10th year.

Shaken Udder, based at Tolleshunt Major, near Maldon, saw sales rise 39% in 2016 and 41% in 2017.

Andrew Howie, who founded the premium milkshake brand in 2008 with wife Jodie, said with “huge” contracts already secured with WH Smith, Boots and easyJet this year, production and sales would be boosted significantly.

The couple started out with an event-based brand touring the country and selling at top music festivals, but the drink is now stocked by major supermarkets, with new additions added to the range.

“We’ve adapted and grown with the demands and the desires of our loyal customers, but we’ve remained true to our roots and continue to use the best ingredients and offer superior taste and quality shakes,” said Andrew.
