A young land agent has scooped an award for his work in identifying and developing opportunities for Solar Photovoltaic installations and investments on primarily agricultural and more recently commercial properties.
Giles Hanglin, head of Agribusiness in the East for Savills, was presented with The British Institute of Agricultural Consultants (BIAC), Agricultural Young Consultant of the Year Award at the Institute of Agricultural Management national conference by ex-Farming Minister Sir Jim Paice.
Mr Hanglin, who is based in Cambridge but works all over the region, was given �1,000 the Perpetual Trophy, a framed certificate and membership of BIAC for 2013.
