An infection control firm based near Newmarket is showing strong growth across the business.
Tristel plc said it expected its results for the year ended June 30, 2018, will be in line with expectations, with a record turnover of £22.2m compared with £20.3m in 2017 and pre-tax profit of at least £4.4m, up from £4.1m in 2017.
Revenue from overseas markets contributed 51.3% of the group total, bringing it to a record level.
Chairman Francisco Soler who has announced his retirement at the forthcoming annual general meeting in December, said since he re-took the helm in 2014, he had presided over a “truly transformational” period and shareholders had benefited greatly. “It has taken a long time for the company to emerge as the globally recognised force in infection prevention it is today,” he said. “The board and management’s vision for the company today is very different from our view in 2014.”
