A coastal eaterie is celebrating after scooping a top honour for the second year running.
The Crown in Southwold has today been named as The Good Pub Guide 2014’s Suffolk Dining Pub of the Year.
The publication describes the Adnams-run venue, as a “comfortable hotel with relaxed bars, a fine choice of drinks, papers to read, excellent imaginative food and seats outside.” General manager Lukasz Juszczak said they were “more than delighted” to repeat last year’s success.
“It is a fantastic achievement and credit to everyone who works here,” he said. “We always try to go that little bit further than expected.”
Mr Juszczak said the recognition was even more special because it was not something they had applied for - instead it was achieved through feedback from customers.
