A Suffolk brewery has secured a new export deal in Quebec.
Bungay-based St Peter’s, has been told that the Société des Alcools du Québec (Liquor Board for Quebec, Canada) will be stocking five of its beers from this summer.
The deal includes Suffolk Gold, India Pale Ale and Ruby Red Ale as seasonal offers, while Cream Stout and G-Free, its gluten free beer, will be permanent listings.
The firm said its export sales are exceeding expectation.
“Our export sales make up 50% of our overall sales and we are always looking for new overseas opportunities,” said chief executive Steve Magnall. “Securing these contracts takes time and patience, but we have a dedicated team at St Peter’s that builds up strong relationships overseas to ensure our export sales continue to grow. We are now very excited to see what the Canadian market think of our hand-crafted range of beers.”
