THE tenth Meet the Buyer at Stansted Airport kicks off today (Thursday, September 22), with firms from across the region winging their way to the business networking event.
Held at the airport’s Radisson Blu Hotel from 9am and 5pm, it gives suppliers based in the region the chance to meet and discuss potential new sales opportunities with companies based at, or close to, Stansted.
The business procurement and networking event, organised by Business to Business and Bishop’s Stortford based Marketing Kinetic and hosted by the airport, has generated millions of pounds worth of sales over its 10-year history.
London Stansted Airport boss Nick Barton, said: “Meet the Buyers gives local companies the chance to come and talk to businesses based at the airport and show what they can offer in terms of products and services. We are all aware these are very difficult economic times but this event can hopefully provide opportunities for local suppliers and businesses.”
