Bosch Lawn & Garden has strengthened its leading position in the garden equipment market.
Data from market research firm GFK show the Stowmarket-based business, part of the Bosch group based in Germany and a member of the EADT/EDP Top100 listing of the 100 largest companies in Suffolk and Norfolk, has a 26% share of the total garden power market and a 34% share in electrical garden equipment.
Andreas Andorfer, managing director of Bosch Lawn & Garden said: “We are pleased to be the market leader in the electric garden tools category.
“We take great pride in being a local employer with manufacturing plant. Our focus is on bringing innovations which make our products and services more user-friendly and therefore enabling our customers to enjoy effortless gardening.”
He added: “We will continue to concentrate on engineering and further develop and enhance our product range, especially in the cordless sector.”
