ACCOUNTING software group Access UK has been named among the finalists in the 2012 National Business Awards.

Access, based at Stratford St Mary, between Ipswich and Colchester, has been nominated for the Business Enabler of the Year title, in recognition of its success in saving clients time and money by automating processes.

Also among the finalists is BT, which has been shortlisted for the Orange Innovation Award for the development of efficiency solutions its Field Force Optimisation Suite, based at Adastral Park, Marltesham Heath, near Ipswich.

The winners of the National Business Awards will be announced at a ceremony to be held in London on Tuesday, November 13.

Martyn Hart, chief executive of the National Outsourcing Association and judge for the Business Enabler of the Year category, said,: “Testing its software on its own business before releasing it to customers, Access is saving clients considerable time and money by automating processes.”
