They will be vying for the Independent Fresh Fish Retailer of the Year title at the Fishing News Awards, to be held in Aberdeen on May 24.

Fishing News is asking the public to cast its votes ahead of the awards ceremony, which will be hosted by comedian Fred MacAulay. Voting closes on April 27. Fishermen, fishing ports, fish restaurants, retailers and processors will be honoured at the event.

Editor David Linkie said: “We are delighted to be able to recognise and reward the individuals and organisations whose achievements in their respective fields do so much for commercial fishing.”
