Suffolk Chamber of Commerce teamed up with Southwold-based Adnams to host a networking event with a difference at Trinity Park, Ipswich.

Ruth Goldsmith, marketing and promotions manager at Adnams, led an evening of beer and food matching, with canapes provided by the kitchen team at Trinity Park.

Guests were welcomed by Suffolk Chamber past president Peter Funnel, with EADT business editor Duncan Brodie, who is also the newspaper’s beer writer, giving an introduction.

Beers provided by Adnams for tasting included Sprindrift (matched with a cheese and chilli starter), Southwold Bitter (with traditional fish and chips), Gunhill (with a meat pie) and Tally Ho (with a chocolate dessert).

Adnams is a member of the EADT/EDP Top100 listing of the 100 largest companies in Suffolk and Norfolk.
