A new project to highlight the challenges presented by climate change has been launched by the National Farmers’ Union.
The Future Landscapes leaflet was published at the end of a two-year project run by NFU East Anglia, working on behalf of Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
The project’s aim was to identify future climate change risks to farm businesses in the AONB and to develop a range of effective measures farmers could use in response.
The leaflet suggests measures farms can take to improve performance.
