Two Suffolk building firms will be going head-to-head in the finals of 2018 National Federation of Builders (NFB) Awards.
Seamans Building, based at Thurston, near Bury St Edmunds, and SEH French, part of Ipswich-based One Group Construction, are both on the shortlist in the New Build Project of the Year category for firms with turnover of £5.5m and above.
In addition, Seamans is also among the nominees for the Heritage Project of the Year title and SEH French is also in the running for the Site of the Year award.
The NFB represents small to medium-sized builders across England and Wales, with its membership ranging from sole traders to companies with annual turnover of up to £500m.
The winners of the NFB Awards will be announced during a ceremony to be held at The Belfry Hotel & Resort near Sutton Coldfield on March 27,
Seamans Building was formed in 1912 and SEH French traces its origins back to the formation of Walter French Builders in the 1930s. It was acquired in 1982 by SEH which in turn became part of One Group Construction in 2014.
