Suffolk: Gold for Fernatix and Potash Nursery at RHS Tatton Park show

SUFFOLK-based mail order fern specialist Fernatix has added to its collection of medals by winning Gold at the Royal Horticultural Society’s Tatton Park show in Cheshire.

Fernatix, which is based at Stoke Ash, near Eye, and also received a Gold medal at the RHS’s Hampton Court Palace show earlier this month, has now won Gold at the Tatton Park event eight years running.

Also among the Gold medal winners in the floral marquee at Tatton Park this year was a display of fuchsias by Potash Nursery, from Bacton, near Stowmarket, adding the Silver Gilt medal it won at Hampton Court.

Silver Gilt medals at Tatton Park were awarded to Mickfield Hostas, from Mickfield, near Stowmarket, also in the floral marquee, and to Frinton in Bloom, in the flower bed competition.

The RHS Flower Show Tatton Park opened yesterday and runs until Sunday.
