FARMERS’ leader Peter Kendall heads up an impressive line-up of speakers at environmental farming group Suffolk FWAG’s 40th anniversary conference on March 21.
The National Farmers’ Union president will be talking about sustainable intensification. Joining him on stage at Trinity Park conference centre in Ipswich is Duncan Sinclair, UK agriculture manager at supermarket chain Waitrose. Chairing the event is Suffolk FWAG chairman Glenn Buckingham, who manages Helmingham Hall Farms, near Debenham. Eye farmer Roy Goodwin, lawyer Richard Barker and Dr Julia Wright, an expert on agroecology, are also among the speakers.
