Suffolk/ Norfolk: UKTI signs up for New Anglia LEP conference exhibition

UK TRADE and Investment has become the first organisation to sign up as an exhibitor for the forthcoming New Anglia Local Enterprise Partnership conference, sponsored by PwC and Mills & Reeve

Up to 200 business leaders from across East Anglian are expected at the third major New Anglia LEP event which takes place on Monday, October 22 at Wherstead Park, Ipswich

With an overall theme of whether East Anglia could become the California of Europe, with its strengths in technology and innovation, the conference will also feature an exhibition of some of the region’s leading business organisations and companies.

First to confirm its place, and to applaud the central theme of the event, has been UK Trade and Investment East (UKTI) which will host an exhibition space to inform conference delegates about the many Suffolk and Norfolk businesses currently achieving new revenue channels through overseas relationships.

Liz Basing, regional director for UKTI East, said: “We’re delighted to be getting involved with the programme of activity for the next New Anglia LEP conference.

“The theme fits so well with our aims and objectives, which are all about helping businesses in this region to achieve their highest potential and to make them gain reputation the world over for their unique skills and services.

“We are looking forward to engaging with many delegates and hearing their experiences of supply chain processes, as well as their challenges and successes in recent times. The audience gives us a great platform to remind decision-makers what we do and how we can help.”
