A landowners’ lobby group is set to host a rural business showcase on the second day of this year’s Suffolk Show.

Country Land and Business Association (CLA) East regional director Ben Underwood said it was “vital” that rural businesses are supported and encouraged visitors to visit the CLA marquee at the show.

“Suffolk has such a diverse range of successful rural businesses and it makes absolute sense for these to be celebrated at the Suffolk Show,” he said.

“Rural businesses not only provide vital services locally but they also make an incredibly important contribution to the wider economy. It is vital that continued support is given to rural businesses and I would encourage as many visitors as possible to visit the CLA marquee at the show.”

CLA East will also be host a celebration of Suffolk food and drink on the first day of the show (May 31) featuring up to 12 local firms which will offer free samples.
