Suffolk Show line-up will soon be revealed

THE line-up for this year’s Suffolk Show will be revealed at an event at Trinity Park on Thursday (March 22).

Organisers are expected to announce some new attractions the show, which is in its 180th year.

The event, the biggest on the county’s calendar, takes place this year on Thursday, June 7, and Friday, June 8, in order to accommodate the Queen’s Jubilee celebrations.

Major Mal Robb from the Army Air Corps at Wattisham will reveal details of this year’s military display, and Professor Bill Tancred MBE will announce plans for the Olympic-themed Suffolk Sport Village.

Suffolk Agricultural Association executive director Christopher Bushby said: “We are very excited to reveal this year’s line-up. Visitors are going to enjoy two days of unprecedented entertainment and fun from the best that Suffolk has to offer. We’re delighted to say some old friends will be returning, but we also have some exciting new displays that won’t be seen anywhere else in East Anglia.”
